Customer Introduction

The customer is an Indian investor whose family has been engaged in the oil refining business for many years. Their business operates several energy projects across East Africa, including Uganda and Kenya. With the growing supply of waste engine oil and strong local demand for diesel, the customer decided to invest in a new waste engine oil refining project in Kenya.

As an experienced refinery operator, the customer paid particular attention to two factors before making his investment: diesel quality and equipment reliability.

The customer first contacted DOING through www.wastetireoil.com on February 14, 2023. Instead of making an immediate purchase, he carefully evaluated the project for more than a year. In August 2023, he visited DOING's waste oil refining project in Ghana to inspect the equipment. At that time, the plant had been installed but had not yet started normal production, so the customer decided to wait for actual operating results.

In March 2024, after receiving feedback from the Ghana project that the produced diesel was operating successfully in diesel generators, the customer became more confident in DOING's technology. He then visited DOING's factory in China on May 7, 2024, where he discussed the equipment configuration with our engineers and inspected the production workshop. After completing the required local permits, the contract was officially signed in September 2024.

Equipment Overview

The DY-D-10 model is DOING's new-generation waste engine oil refining plant, specially designed to produce high-quality diesel from waste engine oil. Compared with conventional waste oil refining equipment, the DY-D-10 adopts an optimized catalytic distillation process that helps produce cleaner diesel while reducing operating costs. The system is also designed for stable long-term operation and convenient daily maintenance.

Manufacturing, Delivery and Installation

After the contract was signed, DOING immediately arranged the waste oil recycling to diesel and asphalt equipment manufacturing according to the customer's project requirements. During production, every key component underwent strict quality inspection to ensure reliable performance before shipment.

The waste oil refining to diesel machine was then carefully packed and shipped to Kenya. From March to June 2026, DOING engineers worked closely with the customer to complete equipment installation, commissioning, and operator training. After comprehensive testing, the plant was successfully put into operation and is now running smoothly, producing high-quality diesel that meets the customer's expectations.
